La mayor parte del tiempo, la sinuosa carretera est\u00e1 envuelta en una espesa niebla, pero aqu\u00ed y all\u00e1 ofrece una vista de un valle con un r\u00edo salvaje fluyendo en su fondo. <em><strong>Aqu\u00ed y all\u00e1, las cascadas se precipitan en las profundidades o rocas escarpadas sobresalen de entre las copas de los \u00e1rboles.<\/strong> <\/em>Cuando por fin se llega al valle, la carretera cruza varias veces r\u00edos embravecidos llenos de pe\u00f1ascos. De derecha e izquierda se alzan escarpadas monta\u00f1as cubiertas de densa vegetaci\u00f3n o sembradas de ma\u00edz y jud\u00edas. Se ven casas ocasionales y se atraviesan peque\u00f1os asentamientos. <em><strong>Los colibr\u00edes revolotean alrededor de arbustos en flores, orqu\u00eddeas, bromelias, l\u00edquenes y helechos cubren las copas de los \u00e1rboles. Aqu\u00ed existe una gran variedad de h\u00e1bitad y un sistema fluvial densamente ramificado alimenta los bosques nublados. En consecuencia, <em><strong>aqu\u00ed viven muchas especies animales y vegetales diferentes<\/strong><\/em>. Tambi\u00e9n hay mucha agricultura. <em><strong>La mayor\u00eda de las familias viven principalmente de forma autosuficiente y cultivan diferentes tipos de pl\u00e1tanos, yuca, ma\u00edz, frutas y Por ello, este grupo de personas lleva a\u00f1os luchando con bastante \u00e9xito contra el creciente asentamiento de empresas mineras.
